A couple of weeks ago I was checking out hashtags on Instagram and I came across some "owl apothecary jars. I was dying at how cute they were. I knew I wanted to make some but thought I'd have to wait til i finished with Super Saturday - but, in all my running around, I came across the actual owls I'd seen in the original picture. I decided, "What the heck." I bought them up and went to town, right in the midst of all my other preparations. I have to admit, once I started I couldn't stop making them. In fact, this afternoon I'm going to go see if I can find more owls. They are the cutest thing for Halloween gifts. Of course I had to make a set for myself too. I've already got ideas for Thanksgiving ones too.
